Kombo Enterprises is an award winning, Sunshine Coast based company which is leading the way in the development of artificial turf. And we are super excited to be a supplier of Kombo Enterprises™ Third Generation award winning artificial grass.
Artificial grass has come a long way in recent times, and Kombo Grass™ is an excellent example of how recyclable materials can be used to manufacture a product that is durable, safe, practical and time saving for home owners.

Some of the most compelling reasons to consider artificial grass are:

  1. Lower maintenance costs - artificial grass requires no irrigation or trimming, yet it stays green year round.
  2. Adds usable square footage to your home - artificial grass enables you to use your whole lawn so much more efficiently as your durable, pristine manicured grass, is always available for use.
  3. Pet-friendly - dogs are notorious for tearing up lawns. A synthetic lawn eliminates those dead spots. Additionally, pet droppings and urine will not stain or discolour artificial grass, and our specially manufactured synthetic turf grass backing allows urine to drain through the turf.
  4. Suitable for any area - artificial turf is ideal for shady lawns or spots where real grass can’t grow, such as roof gardens, balconies, and around swimming pools.
  5. Significant savings - with the ever increasing importance of water conservation, and the rising cost of water, installing artificial grass will provide savings in both water and money.
  6. Pesticide-free - synthetic turf lawns have no need for fertiliser or herbicides.

Kombo Grass™ is a third generation artificial grass. Unlike other types of artificial turf, it does not require a sand or rubber infill on the surface of the grass, making it more cost effective to lay. It also requires less maintenance over time because sand infilled artificial grasses tend to eventually grow weeds, and rain/ wind sweep the sand to the lowest point in the yard, where it sets like cement, and becomes extremely hot to walk on.

Overseas, sand infill grasses are gradually being banned because they are typically more abrasive (which is a problem for playing fields), and they cannot be cost effectively recycled at the end of their life.

Kombo Grass™ has a very natural, matte finish (rather than the unnatural ‘shiny’ look), that artificial turf traditionally has. It really is an incredibly practical, versatile, time and money saving option for those who love the look of lush green, manicured lawns, but don’t love the mowing and maintenance required to keep them looking their best.
