Matt Lucas (Director at Lucas Mob), is a specialist in paving and concreting, with 20 years of experience in paving. " I moved to the Sunny Coast from Darwin around 7 years ago, and after working briefly in property maintenance, I went into paving and concreting. Having owned a paving and concreting supplies business in Darwin, it seemed like a natural progression to go straight back into offering hard landscaping services here", Matt said.
"I have always enjoyed paving. Aside from being 'fit' for it, I love the way an outdoor renovation project comes together after the paving has been finished. I also find that it allows all kinds of ways to be creative, by re-purposing and recycling existing pavers. Lots of people prefer a more rustic look, especially if it is not a brand new home".
Matt also offers gabion construction, which has become enormously popular in recent years. "Gabion cages filled with all types of materials, lend incredible character to a landscape, a garden or an outdoor living area," said Matt. They can be used as a structural feature like a wall, or in a decorative way, such as seating, tables and mailboxes. The size and type of material inside each cage can create a whole range of different looks, depending on the setting".
