How to Create a Tropical Resort-style garden

There is nothing more exciting than seeing a carefully planned garden design come together to create something special. We are fortunate to do business with some wonderful people here on the Sunshine Coast, and we have recently had one of our favourite customers share pictures of his exceptional landscaping design with us. By combining some key products, he has created a tropical style oasis which has not only enhanced the value of his property, but is now a stunning outdoor living space where happy memories will be made for many years to come. 

Using a thoughtful combination of materials, our customer has cleverly created distinct areas in his garden for particular purposes. He has used gold tumbled sandstone and natural stone steppers to mark out pathways around the pool and raised fire pit areas.

The contrasting colours, shapes and textures of the products are not only extremely functional, but very nice to look at. The lush tropical gardens have been generously mulched with a combination of cypress mulch, and hardwood mulch. This will help suppress weeds, and lock in the warmth and moisture over the coming cooler, drier months.

Interest has been added to the tropical style pool with natural granite rock. This makes a very beautiful and natural style top step to the pool.

Finally, drainage gravel and aggi pipe have been put to use to ensure that the area drains well in the wetter months, and pitching rock has been used to add interest, texture and colour to the surrounding garden beds.

You can clearly see the character of the property has been greatly enhanced by the use of these beautiful, natural landscaping products.
