Earth Grow for soil conditioning or mulch

1 min read

Earth Grow is a new line we are carrying that can be used as either a soil conditioner or mulch. It is a brilliant product to help restore nutrient depleted soil.

In general, using soil conditioners and mulches may promote stronger growth rates, encourages micro-organisms and improve worm populations in the soil. Products such as these can also enhance water holding in sandy soils and promote air porosity & water movement through the soil.

This can significantly reduce the water requirements of your garden. Finally, a really important benefit is that it provides critical organic nutrients to your soil.

This is key if the soil is degraded or depleted. It will need to be balanced and restored to successfully grow anything. To use as a soil conditioner, apply to a depth of approximately 100mm and dig into the soil to a depth of 200-250mm. This will add organic matter to clay, sandy and/or tired soils to improve nutrient levels, water holding ability, air porosity etc.

To use as a covering mulch that is dark in colour and high in nutrient value, apply to a depth of approximately 100mm.

This exceptional product is produced here on the Sunshine Coast, and is an organic blend of aged hoop fines, hardwood sawdust and mulch blended with a little cow manure (this is what makes it so ideal as a soil conditioner and mulch for nutrient depleted soil).

Earth Grow is available to purchase in bulk, and is $62m3.
